Back in 1999, I found myself returning to the San Antonio area after some time in college and a few business ventures. Initially, I was drawn to the land, buying large tracts of 50 to 500 acres across the Texas Hill Country for development. It wasn’t homebuilding that initially pulled me; it was the terrain and opportunity that appealed. Then, a friend came to me with a simple request: build a house on his five-acre plot. I agreed, and that project was the handshake that quietly marked the beginning of Paradise Custom Homes.
